A pandemic. Systemic racism and poverty exposed. Civil unrest. Polarized politics. Economic uncertainty. Even before the traumatic events of 2020 through which we are struggling, being stressed had become the new normal.
Now, we are all suffering from the side effects of six months of being constantly bombarded by negative thoughts and emotions. In chaotic times like these, how do we overcome our body’s stress response and build emotional resilience? How can we "GET UNSTRESSED"?
During a 1-hour seminar on Saturday, October 24th, Dr. Alane Daugherty will reveal an innovative mind-body approach to help you build motivation and learn skills for grounding yourself amidst the chaos. Learn how emotions such as gratitude, compassion, and empathy can actually transform your stress response, soothe tension in your body, and lead to a deeper sense of peace and calm. Discover how to build the emotional resilience need to live a vital life, even in the midst of daily stress and turmoil, even in the midst of the traumatic events of 2020.
