The Rev. Dr. Sarah Griffith Lund at University Christian Church, March 2019
The Rev. Dr. Sarah Griffith Lund enthralled worshipers at University Christian Church on Sunday, March 31. Sarah's powerful sermon that told a new parable about inclusion, grace and healing for those struggling with mental health and addiction. Click on the link below to hear her words of challenge and hope.
The Rev. Dr. Sarah Griffith Lund was also the keynote speaker at a day-long retreat hosted by Beloved on Saturday, March 30th. "Breaking the Silence: Mental Health, Family and the Church" brought together 55 pastors, church leaders, and mental health resource partners to face the challenge of creating safe, welcoming, and healing space in the church. Sarah's stories and insights helped us hear the heart break of those in need of a place to speak their truth and to find the healing that starts with being heard. May Beloved be such a community of compassion.
